„Music is like a ray of sunlight – it cannot be held or possessed; it can only be received and passed on.“
For Swiss musician iandara, music is not a destination, but a way to understand the world. Her identity and sound are fueled by a deep, cosmopolitan diversity: within her, the rhythmic longing of South America and the poetic elegance of the chanson flow seamlessly together. It is the heritage of two worlds that she carries in her voice.
Her musical journey began with the rhythm of drums in Olten, led her as a street musician across the cobblestones of major metropolises, and included a stopover in the first season of The Voice of Switzerland, where she captured hearts with her rendition of „La vie en rose.“
Yet, away from the bright spotlights, in the quiet pauses of life, iandara has remained a traveler between worlds. In her music lives both the wondering child and an old, wise soul looking for solid ground. Her voice creates spaces where, for a brief moment, people can breathe together. If her music helps someone feel comforted or understood for just a blink of an eye, that is her greatest reward.
